Shared situational awareness within complex environments

There's no shortage of data in today's world, as companies face a never-ending flood of data streaming from multiple sources. Turning data to usable information is imperative, particularly in heavy industry.

From floorplans and sensor feeds to the output of operational processes, data can provide a competitive advantage helping organizations improve their day-to-day operations and efficiency. In complex environments, dozens of parallel production units operate in a network of underground and above-ground utilities and infrastructure monitored by multiple planning and safety teams. A shared situational awareness and communication tool can improve efficiencies and prevent delays.

In this webinar, we'll explore Europe's largest integrated cluster of petrochemical companies at the Port of Antwerp and demonstrate how one company optimizes processes by providing clear situational awareness on the multiple activities taking place. You'll see how thousands of employees connect daily with historical data, sensor data, and real-time operational information, and how access to that information leads to new insights in complex areas such as:

  • Shutdown management
  • Crisis management
  • Underground pipe management
